This is a wide picture. The centre doorway where the white truck is parked is the entrance to the Nursing Station. The doorway at the far right end of the building is the entrance to the Birch Narrows Dene Nation Administration Building (the Band Office) where the band chief, band councillors and their administrative staff work.

This is the entrance to a field where bulldozers had cleared away the forest many years ago in the hope that a new school would be built here.
